This complex is situated in the centre of Canvey Island. It was opened in 1973 and stands in spacious recreation grounds. There are two halls. The main hall seats 500 people or will hold 400 for dancing and incorporates a large stage. It is an excellent venue for large gatherings ranging from social functions to shows and conferences. The second hall can hold up to 175 people and both the halls have their own bar/lounge area. The remainder of the complex comprises foyers, cloakrooms, extensive kitchen facilities, dressing rooms and two committee rooms on the upper floor. There is ample car parking and nearby a well equipped children’s play complex.
